Hi everybody, Today I am showing you a photography I took this year at Park Güell, which is a beautiful park in Barcelona, designed by the great Antoni Gaudí. In the photo you can’t see any of the Gaudí actual designs, but the park is full of trees and plants so it is also a perfect place for shots like this. The most important technique in this photo is probably the depth of field. To get a narrow depth of field I used the longest focal length available (55mm) and the smallest aperture available (5.6). On April 26, 1986 happened what is, to date, the largest nuclear accident in history. It is estimated that the amount of radioactive materials released into the atmosphere was 500 times that of Hiroshima. This big wheel was going to be opened just a day after the accident happened. As you can imagine, never was opened and was abandoned along with the whole town (Pripyat). To emphasize the gloomy aspect of the place I chose this composition and colors.
